Tytuł	Technical support services for the setup, maintenance and update of the EREK knowledge base
Opis	Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. The European Resource Efficiency Knowledge Centre (EREK for short) provides tools, information and business opportunities demonstrating new and better ways for European companies, especially SMEs, to be resource efficient, improve their environmental performance, and benefit from circular economy business models. Launched a few years ago as an independent project, EREK is now being integrated in the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) in order to leverage powerful synergies by reaching out to industrial cluster organisations and their members. A key aspect of the resources provided by EREK is the Knowledge Base, a repository of validated, up-to-date information, based on state-of-the-art experience gathered from top performers and validated by experts, presenting in particular best practice on resource efficiency and the circular economy in various industrial and economic sectors. The EREK knowledge base aims to deliver practical, accurate information on technical and economic aspects in an easy-to-use format to achieve maximum impact in the targeted organisations and help them become more resource efficient. The objective of this contract is to provide technical support services for the setup, maintenance and update of the EREK knowledge base. To this end, it will be necessary to refine both the form and content of material, which would be the most impactful to deliver resource efficiency solutions within the target groups of EREK. For instance, the technical content submitted by users of the platform (suggestions for showcases or case studies) will be reviewed and validated prior to publication; in parallel, best environmental management practices (or “BEMPs”) will be updated or created to add to the continuously updated body of knowledge available through EREK/ECCP. An Industrial Symbiosis toolkit will also be developed and updated. This will provide companies, clusters and other key stakeholders with information on resource efficiency solutions adapted to their needs. More broadly, this contract will contribute to the validation of the technical content of the knowledge base to enrich the portfolio of resource efficiency solutions presented to the EREK community.
