Beskrivning	Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy coupled with attenuated total reflectance (FTIR-ATR) is a non-destructive and rapid technique very well suited for routine control of purity. Optimal results are obtained by analysing products in its melted form. Therefore, a compact system able to be placed easily in different locations to facilitate the sample handling/preparation and provided with a temperature controlled ATR unit is required. Here are some of the minimum technical requirements which can still change before the launch date of teh effective call: At least the following instrumental and operational features must be guaranteed: - The device must be based on Infrared spectroscopy (spectral range at least 400 cm-1 to 4000 cm-1). - The spectrometer must include a heated Attenuated Total Internal Reflectance module (ATR) with a robust (fixation of the crystal by glue does not assure the required stability and will therefore not be accepted) diamond crystal allowing the measurement over the full spectral range according to the optical configuration of the spectrometer. - The ATR diamond crystal plate must be heatable up to 100 C for the analysis of fluids. The temperature controller must be completely included in the spectrometer and temperature must be regulated from the software. - The device must be a compact system consisting of a FT infrared spectrometer with the heatable ATR and the computer for operating the software. The device must be portable and easy to transport in order to facilitate the operation within a laboratory or in different laboratories. - ...
