Consultancy for the Safety, Security and Environmental Inspectors
Support to the safety, environmental and security inspectors: the JRC Ispra conduces safety security and environment controls under its own responsibility, as it derives from Law 906/1960. The site manager instituted an Inspection service on safety, environmental and security issues, which conducts inspections and enquiries on the Ispra site. This inspection service is equivalent to the Italian national authorities, which perform the same inspections and enquiries in the Italian territory. To cover the variety of the possible expertise and to reinforce the team of inspectors, the JRC Ispra has decided to make recourse to specialised service providers, for providing expertise in national law and EU norms and legislation and assistance in the safety, environmental and security inspections.
