The European Parliament is VAT exempt for the purchase of fuel in accordance with conventions signed with the member states. VAT is deducted directly for some countries, and is invoiced but recovered afterwards for others, in each case depending on the amount invoiced. We confirm that having different cards for different countries is acceptable, that the central countries mentioned in the selection criteria must in any case be covered, and that the quality of a tender is further increased with greater coverage and greater network density in Europe.
