Given the ample expertise of the Commission, is close and intensive cooperation foreseen between experts (i.e. carbon market experts but also financial market regulation experts) from the Commission and the contractor?

Yes, a close and intensive co-operation between the contractor and the relevant Commission experts in the fields of financial markets and carbon market regulation should be expected throughout the duration of the project. Such co-operation will be facilitated but it must not involve effective performance of any of the contractor's tasks foreseen under the contract by those Commission experts.
