Specific experience of project managers
On page 21 of the tender specs is it stated that project managers’ specific experience should include overseeing of project delivery, quality control ....etc. According to the tender specs, project managers should be at least Category II (among other requirements in page 23 of the Tender Specs). Category II refers to the following requirements " Minimum 4 years of professional experience must be connected with the professional sector required in the tender specifications and the type of tasks to be performed. PhD studies attested by a diploma relevant to the duties involved can be considered professional experience." To our understanding, the 4 years of professional refer to either the technical services of studies (i.e. evaluations, impact assessments, legal studies, economic analyis, monitoring etc.) OR to food policy studies. Please confirm if our understanding is correct

The project manager in his/her specific professional experience it must be included overseeing of project delivery, quality control of delivered service, client orientation and conflict resolution experience in at least 3 projects of at least € 100.000 amongst which at least one project of a large EU coverage (min 15 EU MS) and with experience in management of teams of at least 5 people. On top of this, the project manager needs to be at least Category II. This means that she/her must have a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma relevant to the duties involved, or professional training/a professional qualification of an equivalent level and duration relevant to those duties; general professional experience of minimum 10 years. Minimum 4 years of his/her professional experience must be connected with the professional sector required in the tender specifications and the type of tasks to be performed.
