Use of Class II tactical RPAS with similar characteristics
Would it be possible to use a Class II tactical RPAS that allows to perform the flight trials with the same payload that the MALE-type RPAS would use (for example MTOM = 300-500kg, ceiling 20000-30000ft, endurance above 10hrs and mission radius above 200-300km)?

YES, according the specs page 14: “The Demonstration/Validation campaign will consist of several flight trials with a MALE-type RPAS platform (or equivalent flight performance RPAS platform or equivalent flight performance optionally piloted aircraft) of the refined scenarios.” The example given in the question (“MTOM = 300-500kg, ceiling 20000-30000ft, endurance above 10hrs and mission radius above 200-300km) falls in the category “equivalent flight performance RPAS” from the specs. Thus, such a platform is meeting the requirements from the technical specifications.
