Extension of Submission Deadline
We are writing on behalf of an association of ICF, Fraunhofer Institute, Cambridge Econometrics and TM Leuven, to request a change in the submission deadline for the assignment Study on exploring the possible employment implications of connected and automated driving 2018/S 095-214654 from 2 July to 9 July. This additional time will facilitate the submission of a significantly stronger offer in what is a very important project for which this team is very highly qualified.

The Contracting Authority does not envisage the extension of the deadline. The deadline set by the Contracting Authority complies with the article 152.2 of the rules of application (Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1268/2012 on the rules of application of Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union amended by Commission delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/2462 of 30 October 2015). The Contracting Authority draws the attention to the fact that the approach concerning the selection criteria and the supporting documents to be submitted only on request by the Contracting Authority simplifies the process and allows the economic operators to save time and concentrate on the technical and financial offer.
