The specification states that the contract duration is one year during 2021, to be followed by a 7 year contract. Should it be understood that there will be a completely separate tender process for the 2021-2027 period though there appears to be some overlap in the specified periods? Furthermore can it be clarified if the scope for this subsequent 7 year period will be similar to that specified for the subject contract.

This procurement procedure being awarded for 2021 is for the award of a follow up contract to the services performed under the current contract (MOVE B.2/SER/2014-670/SI2.69777). A further tender for the period end-2021-2028 (approximately) will be launched in due course – the exact scope and dates are still to be defined.
