Scope and definition - finance (Section 1.4.1)
“Financial flows” as mentioned in section 1.4.1. is a broad term that could include all financial flows from investors and governments. What would EASME understand with “financial flows”? Would that also included contributions in kind (i.e. non-financial support?)

As stated in section 1.4.2, the study (Lot 1) will examine the funding and investment sources of those maritime activities that risk leading to unsustainable outcomes. As in the description of Task 2 (section 1.5.1), the research will cover all of the mechanisms (i.e. financial engineering), regulatory context, local conditions and economic actors that make possible the financing of unsustainable activities in the blue economy.
