The uplift is a margin that the selected contractor will be allowed to apply to any purchases made within this framework contract. It is a matter of transparency between the contractor and EDA. The contractor is obliged to respect this uplift and not to exceed it. EDA may decide to request, for verification purposes, a proof of the price negotiated between the manufacturer and the contractor, e.g. in the form of a copy of the manufacturer’s offer to the contractor.
