Participation of third countries.
We would like to know whether a company from Colombia is allowed to participate in our joint tender.

YES Colombia can participate. Pursuant to Article 119(1) FR “Participation in tendering procedures shall be open on equal terms to all natural and legal persons coming within the scope of the Treaties and to all natural and legal persons in a third country which has a special agreement with the Union in the field of public procurement under the conditions laid down in that agreement.” The Trade Agreement with Colombia and Peru was signed on 26 June 2012.
