Conflicts of interest - LOT3
Could the CAJU clarify the rules on how a potential contractor might avoid performing certain audits if there are conflicts of interest? As this is a framework contract with a single supplier it is natural that there will be several instances of conflict resulting in the supplier not being able to cater for the audit of a specific grant beneficiairy?

The contracting authority is precising, that the execution of audits of grant agreements at the beneficiaries of the CAJU are not included in the FWC. The scope of the LOT3 of the FWC comprises only the monitoring of the execution of such audits, which are carried out by external audit firms or by the Commission services, as well as the establishment of audit samples. As indicated in section 8 of the Tender Specifications- Part 2, any potential conflict of interest under the framework service contract will be assessed on a case-by-case basis at the stage of placing a request for an offer to a specific contract and at the level of individual consultant(s) proposed by a contractor for the execution of the tasks.
