Equipment Substitution
In the case we are unable to do a repair of old and out-of-warranty equipment, and we recommend that EEA purchases new equipment, what will then happen if EEA rejects to purchase new equipment? In this case – who will be responsible for delivering the requested services?

As stated in section 6 of the tender specifications, the purpose of the framework contract is to provide the EEA with maintenance and installation of audio-visual equipment as well as consultation services on audio-visual design. In the event where a faulty equipment out of manufacturer’s warranty is not repairable, the EEA expects the contractor to propose a suitable alternative on the bases of which the agency will decide whether to replace it or not.
