Question
On page 14 the call for tender mentions a comparison with FP6 - therefore the question arises in which way FP6 data will be available, if and how it is linked to FP7 data. Of particular interest is the question, if the organizations (coordinators, partners) have the same identification number in FP6 and FP7 data or if a (partly manual) linking of both datasets is necessary. Will FP5 data be made available as well and is it linked to FP6 and FP7?

The tender specifications states that based on the statistical analysis carried out in the previous tasks and where applicable and feasible the contractor will analyze the trends and developments and compare with situation in the previous Framework Programme (FP6). We would like to draw your attention that there are other sources than CORDA based on which analysis and comparison between FP7 and FP6 could be carried out. There are several publicly available studies carried out by different Commission services analysing network formation in the previous framework programmes that could be used for such task. The tender specifications do not require linking FP6 and FP7 datasets. The Commission will not provide FP5 data as the FP5 is not a scope of this study.
