Potential errors in formulae in Price tables-editable version document.
We have noticed what appears to be incorrect formulae in this document. If so, using this formula means that our reference price would be higher than according to the explanation of the calculation of the reference price provided in the tender documents (Annex V-J). We would like to know if you want us to enter individual prices as per the editable price tables document provided (including using what might be incorrect formulae) or if you would like us to correct the formulae? Potential errors we have spotted include: •Group discussion level A-B Grand total Price tables V-A.1 (cell E57) is incorrectly calculated since it takes candidate country/additional country costs twice. The formula takes all values from B34 to E54. Instead, the formula should sum up values in B34:E34, B52:E52 and B54:E54 •Group discussion level C, the grand total Price tables V-A.2 (cell D58) is incorrectly calculated since it takes Candidate countries/additional country costs twice. Formula takes all values from A35 to D55 instead of summing values in B34:C34, B53:C53 and B55:C55. Also, there is no formula to calculate sums for the tables EU 28 countries and candidate countries and other countries and territories. Summing formula should be in B34, C34 and B53, C53 •Individual interviews levels A-B Grand total Price tables V-D.1 (cell E56) is incorrectly calculated it takes candidate countries costs/additional country costs twice. The formula takes all values from B34 to E54 instead of summing values in B34:E34, B52:E52 and B54:E54 We will send you a part II of this list of potential formulae errors in a separate question as we are over 2,000 character limit in this message.

The calculation of the reference price is indicated in Annex V-J. It is based on the individual prices to be indicated in the price offer (Annex V A-I). In case of discrepancy between the prices indicated in each cell and the "Grand total" cell, the prices indicated in each cell will naturally prevail. Therefore, the formulae do not need to be corrected. We have detected only one mistake among the examples you have mentioned: group discussion level C. The formula indicated for cell D58 is incorrect and should be B34+C34+B53+C53+B55+C55. Costs for candidate countries and additional country are not calculated twice in the price offer. We remind you that the time limit for submission of tenders is tomorrow, November 23rd 2016.
