Qualifications and work experience
In the interests of clarity - please could you confirm that audit services carried out of the expenditure of each of the following bodies, are considered as relevant experience in auditing public administrations expenditure. a. Hospitals and trusts b. City, regional, district and county councils c. Non-departmental public bodies that have a role in the processes of national government and policy, but are not a government department or part of one. d. Non-ministerial departments e. Armed forces Could you provide a comprehensive definition of the term ‘public administration’.

Only the experience related to audit in public administration can be considered as relevant experiences. All those bodies which are not government department cannot be considered as relevant experience.
