a) Is it possible for tenderers to get access / take a look into the existing database of Social Innovation Competition participants? b) Will the database be put at the disposal of the successful tenderer after contract signing?

a. The full database of the participants of the European Social Innovation Competition is not available for public information. You might however look at the competition page (http://ec.europa.eu/growth/industry/innovation/policy/social/competition_en) to see the winners of the previous editions. We can also inform you that 1095 entries were received for the 2016 Competition, 1400 in 2015 and 1254 in 2014. b. Yes, the successful tenderer will have the access to the database for the sole purpose of contract management. We draw your attention to the fact that the contractor supporting the Commission for the organisation of the Competition is bound to strict legal obligations as regards the processing of data of third parties (point 9 of the Rules of Contest). All personal data (such as names, addresses and other details) will be processed pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the European Union institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data."
