Clarification Task 1.2 - Apparent inconsistency
Question
3. There is some inconsistency in Task 1.2, where the text first mentions that a cost-effectiveness of operations should be assessed (p.12) whereas the example of the fiche (pg 13) refers to results of cost-benefit analysis. These are two different economic methods. Which one do you require?

Cost benefit analysis can be applied where this approach is applicable, for each particular operation, given the difficulties of this approach in studies relating to the environment. Proposals from the contractor are expected to address this. When it comes to cost-effectiveness analysis this should be applied for comparison of all different operations that have been proposed under task 1.
