Dissemination activities - who covers costs for attendees of workshop in Tender specification page 14

Please could you clarify if the European Commission (Contracting Authority) will cover the costs of travel and accomodation for attendees of the mandatory Dissemination workshop mentioned on pages 14-15 of the tender specification? this is important for budget development. We understand the following - please confirm if correct: (1)- We (the contractor) may invite participants and the EC (contracting authority) may also invite participants - but we will only pay for the travel and subsistence of our own staff present at the workshop. (2)- We (the contractor) will also be responsible to pay for catering up to maximum of 600 Euro. (3)- The EC (contracting authority) will pay for the travel and subsistence of all other people invited that are not staff members of the project consortium. Therefore these costs are not required in our budget. thank you for your help

(1) and (3) The participants will be selected and invited as described in Section 2.2.1.(d)1. (with the suggestion/agreement by the Commission). As indicated in tender specifications, the contractor will only cover travel and subsistence for its own staff present at the dissemination workshop. Should the Commission decide to reimburse travel/subsistence expenses of the external speakers/participants, it would be done directly by the Commission. (2) Your understanding is correct: the contractor must cover catering expenses for all the participants and the estimated budget for the catering services will not exceed EUR 600.
