Request for clarification: Chafea/2017/BTSF/08: Number of Tutors
Dear Sir/Madam, We are referring to the Call for Tenders Chafea/2017/BTSF/08. We would like to ask for clarification concerning the number of Tutors. We noticed that in the Tender Specifications page 16 it is mentioned that “The contractor shall appoint a Training Coordinator” and page 17 “…the contractor is required to provide 5 qualified tutors…” . On the other hand on page 29 it states that “The contractor is required to provide, for each workshop, at least 4 qualified and experienced tutors...” According to our understanding, a Training Coordinator and 4 qualified Tutors should be proposed (5 in total). We kindly ask you to clarify whether this interpretation is correct. We thank you in advance for your kind support. Best regards,

The tender specifications state in section 3.1.2 that "The contractor is requested to provide, for each workshop, at least 4 qualified and experienced tutors with the relevant experience…" With regards to the training coordinator, section 3.1.1 states that "The contractor shall appoint one person as a Training Coordinator who will be responsible for the technical aspects of the training. He/she will be a member of the tutors’ panel." In addition, in sections 3.1.1 and 4.2.3 of the tender specifications it is indicated that "Unless otherwise stated in section 3.1.2, the contractor is required to provide 5 qualified tutors…" Therefore 4 tutors (including the Training Coordinator) must be provided for each workshop.
