Technical clarifications about handheld carbon dioxide detectors
Dear Sirs, please communicate me if you accept an offer for handheld carbon dioxide detectors without audio headphones set, and PC interface connection made by cable, not by IR. The product our manufacturer offered us corresponds to all the required characteristics less than the above mentioned requirements. They said that they don't use anymore this technology, and name it "old". Alarms specifications: "Wireless remote alarm notification; audible (95 dB @ 30 cm), vibration, visible (flashing bright red LEDs), and on-screen indication of alarm conditions - Man Down Alarm with pre-alarm and real-time remote wireless notification"

Frontex shall accept proposals for CO2 detectors which may not have audio headphone set and IR PC interface connection. The corresponding wording has been incorporated in the text of the Terms of Reference (version of 16 March 2018).
