Question
Regarding the payment conditions, the draft contract foresees no pre-payment, a 30% payment in January 2019, a 30% after celebrating the conference, and a final payment of 40%. Given the substantial costs that the subcontractor will have to invest before January 2019, e.g. one steering group meeting with all associated costs, such as catering, renting, as well as the organisation of an event of up to 200 persons with similar expenses, we request the Commission to reconsider the payment schedule, and to include pre-payment at signature of the contract of 30%.

The Commission has considered the proposal but is not able to include a pre-payment. In order to accommodate the needs there have been changes made to the payment schedule. The amended version of the draft contract has just been uploaded and the changes are marked in red at point I.5.2. Interim payment[s].
