Fuel surcharge in transport
Question
The transport costs are affected by fuel costs. These fuel costs can fluctuate a lot in the course of a year. The transport sector uses a fuel surcharge to adapt transport prices monthly to the real fuel cost. We can provide a transport price fuel surcharge included (means : based on to-days fuel costs) but we cannot guaranty fuel prices for more than three months. Can prices be recalculated periodically based on a fuel price index (in plus and/or minus) ?
