Lot 7 - Case Study #3, scope of the ‘solution’
Referring to the stipulation of the Specifications “The tenderer has to define a stable and reliable solution to get applications highly resilient”, we understand that: (1) the term “solution” refers to both hardware and software ‘components’; (2) if deemed necessary and subject to the satisfaction of a vendor’s pertinent technical prerequisites/constraint, it may be assumed the EP will UPGRADE its existing hardware and/or software infrastructure for the purposes of implementing the Case Study #3 ‘solution’; (3) if deemed necessary, NEW hardware and/or software (i.e., not already listed in Case Study #3 and Annex F of the specifications) components may be proposed, over and above those proposed in the context of defining “the multi-sites datacenter network infrastructure addressing those needs” of Case Study #3;
