We are not a designated technical service, but we performe ISC tests. Must we be accredited ISO 17020:2012 to use the services of a subcontractor

The member of the consortium or subcontractor that will perform RDE and WLTP tests needs to be either a technical service or accredited to EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 for the ISC procedure, and to EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for performing the tests, according to point 5.1. of Annex II of the RDE 4 act. The member of the consortium or subcontractor that will perform PEMS tests does not need to be either a technical service or accredited laboratory.
