How long is the “ex-post” conflict of interest, i.e. for how long is a contractor restricted to work with a specific financial institution which has been subject to resolution (eg. in case there are still on-going activities)?

It is not possible to provide such an estimation of the time frame in abstract. The determination of such “ex post” conflict of interests will depend on all the relevant circumstances of the specific case, including, inter alia, the timing at which the contractor will intend to provide the services to the relevant institution, the status of the latter institution at that point in time (e.g. whether the resolution is ongoing), the link between the services provided to the SRB and the services to be provided to other parties, any arrangements which could reduce a conflict of interests. The SRB works closely with the contractors to avoid that any conflict of interests will arise and undermine the interests of the SRB and the contractor.
