For position B5, Expert in Communication, it is specified 'an educational qualification at least masters' level or equivalent (7 of EQF) in the field of communication or political sciences.' 1. Would extensive work experience in the field of communications count as equivalent to an educational qualification at least at masters' level or equivalent (7 of EQF) in the field of communication or political sciences.' and if so is there a minimum requirement? 2. Would other masters degrees in relevant fields, such as in natural sciences, also qualify the expert given the topic of the project?

1. The minimum requirement as indicated in the technical specifications is minimum 5 years of experience. The CV and portfolio shall include, in particular with regard to development of a communication strategy and management of communication activities, at least 1 project and of 2 outreach events. It will indicate the role of the expert and the main communication services and products delivered (including links to social media accounts managed and web publications). 2. No, neverthless qualification at master level or equivalent means that extensive work experience including field training in communication or political sciences can count as equivalent.
