Section 2.2 (Description of Tasks)
The description of Tasks 3 and 4 indicates that the contractor will elaborate up to 10 case studies and that the geographical distribution of these case studies will be defined in agreement with the European Commission. In order to provide an accurate and comparable budget for this study, could you please precise the number of case studies that each competitor should base their offer on? Shall it be 10 case studies or less?

The number of case studies will not be higher than 10. In case of Task 4, as little as six case studies may be sufficient to gain a representative sample and a comprehensive overview of the possibilities. In case of Task 3, eight case studies may suffice for the same purpose. The Commission will decide on the exact number of case studies in agreement with the contractor after discussing tasks.
