Annex 3 Draft contract: II-24-2
This article states that checks and audits may be initiated at any moment and up to 5 (five) years after the final payment under the last Specific Contract or Purchase Order. We cannot agree, audits can only be performed during the duration of the contract. Could you adjust this section?

Europol does not accept the modification required. This Article reflects obligations imposed on Europol as recipient of public (EU) money and consequently on companies receiving payments from such funds. Europol is not allowed to contract out of these obligations. For further information please refer to the Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2018/1046 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 July 2018 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union, as well as to the legal acts referenced at Article II-24.9.
