Task 5 - clarification of scope
Question
The description of task 5 in the specification states both: (1) "an electronic data interchange system should be developed"; and (2) "the study should define the functional specifications of such a system". Please can you confirm whether the scope of the work to be carried out by the contractor in task 5 of this study would include the actual development of the EDI (i.e. point (1))?

Concerning the development of an electronic data interchange (EDI) system (task 5), this study should provide the definition of the functional specification of such system. This system would then be implemented at a later stage, outside the scope of this study.
