Question
Technical annex A2 (CONSLIFE system) : rejection of delivered files. The described procedures (ACK/NACK plus attachment, with duplicated email) seems to be applied only to manual validation, see points 4.4 and 4.5. However, in the same annex, table in point 6.1, automatic rejection for xml and pdf files are mentioned, but not present as example. Could you please confirm the use of ACK/NACK also for automatic validation?

'ACK/NACK' messages as described in points 4.4 and 4.5 are in fact ONLY applied for manual validation/rejection. Corresponding 'ACK/NACK' messages are NOT generated in the course of automatic validation. Nevertheless, there will be a notification of an automatic rejection. As described in Technical annex A2, point 6.1, in the case of an automatic rejection an e-mail is generated and sent. The e-mail holds two attachments, an error log file and a validation report in XML format indicating the error.
