Maintenance and repair by the contractor
With reference to document number “EN-EEA.ADS.19.005_Tender+specifications” paragraph 1.3.1. Requirement: The contractor shall maintain and repair the access control/burglary alarm and the Recording Video Surveillance system in place at the EEA. Can we understand this question in the way that contractor staff shall have the ability to find out if there are defects in the systems? And in case the repair of defects requires external expert help from e.g. the vendor of the equipment, then the contractor ensures that assistance is booked? I.e. that maintenance means ensuring the systems remain in good working order, and that repair can rely on external expert help, but organized and coordinated by the contractor.

Yes, your understanding is correct. The Contractor must have the ability to find and detect defects, call for service, and make sure it is repaired and up and running as soon as possible.
