Please clarify: Which of our understanding is proper: a) A Business Analyst (BA) must hold a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) and A System Analyst (SA) must hold an OMG Certified UML Professional at intermediate level or OMG Certified Expert in BPM at Fundamental level or equivalent? or b) Both Business and System analyst must comply to both requirements?

None. “Business/System Analyst” is the name of the profile and it covers both areas business and system analysis. Person for this profile should be proficient in both areas – thus the person ,must hold: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or equivalent And OMG Certified UML Professional at intermediate level or OMG Certified Expert in BPM at Fundamental level or equivalent or equivalent.
