Signature policy
We normally comply with Section 1 of the Invitation to Tender and Section 4.3 of the Administrative Specification by posting documents signed by hand. There are practical difficulties of individuals in mandatory isolation either printing, signing and posting original documents or arranging electronic signatures. We are aware that the Commission has relaxed the requirement for hand signature of some documents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Do any relaxations of the signature policy apply to this Tender?

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the contracting authority for the submission of tenders exceptionally accepts scanned and signed documents in pdf format. This is a temporary measure, which only applies in the current exceptional situation and the validity of the scanned signature will be subject to a formal exchange of blue ink signatures once the exceptional situation due to COVID-19 is over.
