Selection criteria 2.6
Question
The criterion suggests that the tenderer must be ISO 9001 certified or equivalent. What would be considered equivalent to ISO certification? Could for instance the tenderer's quality procedures be considered equivalent to ISO standards, even if the tenderer does not have formal ISO certification. Could registration in a national professional trade body be considered equivalent? Would the tenderer's track record in delivering to satisfactory standards be considered equivalent? In the case of a consortium, is it sufficient for one legal entity to have ISO certification? Thank you very much.

An explanation of the selection criteria 2.6 “The tenderer must be ISO 9001 (or equivalent) certified.” can be found under the heading “How can you have confidence that your supplier meets ISO 9001?” on this web site: http://www.iso.org/iso/9001supchain . In the case of a consortium, the “Group Leader” or the “Group Manager” shall have the ISO 9001 certification or the equivalent.
