Will the produced code become the only certified code to be used for future noise mapping projects? If not, what are the validation requirements for approved software for use in future END projects?

This is not a request for technical clarification on the tender specifications. However, as a courtesy, the Commission can confirm that the intention is to use the software not for extensive noise mapping, but rather to validate the EU noise mapping methodology before its adoption as a common European environmental noise assessment method.
