2.2 Description of the subject, expected outcome, and required output / Subject Request for clarification on valid list of standard
Question
According to tender, the expected outcome of the contract is the technical evaluation and assessment of more than 800 standards including in the UAS Rolling Development Plan (U-RDP) produced by the European UAS Standards Coordination Group (EUSCG). In the web page of EUSCG (euscg.eu/rdp) is published Version 6.0 of the U-RDP that contains aprox. 300 standard. Moreover, according to tender AW drone project did an assessment of the standard of U-RDP list that did not include technical content to determine whether the standards are adequate to meet the safety objective of the provisions of the related regulations. In Drone Standard Information Portal from AW-Drones project, (aw-drones.eu/outcomes) there are 669 standards. According to tender (§ 4 page 19) "The assessment must cover all standards listed in the U-RDP, including up to 15 standards that may be added by the EUSCG, from the start of the contract, up to 6 months before its expiration date, as part of the regular update of the U-RDP. The numbers referred to in the question are the standards assessed by AW drone (it is expected that by the end of the year about 800 will be assessed). The request in the tender is to assess only those standards that have been recommended by AW Drone and listed in the deliverables D4.1 and D4.2 published on their website https://www.aw-drones.eu/resources/
